Hi Lovelies,
A few months ago Elle connected us to do three feature blogs for them.
The first one was about 7 makeup brands that we would like to see in swedish stores.
The second one was about 8 makeup tips for women of colour
and the third and final installment was a report on how one of Swedens largest department stores decided to bring in more brands of different price classes and tones into their stores.
This is a true testament of how we can affect change when we come together. Without Black Vogue collecting all makeup lovers under one roof we were able to make contact with large companies and open up the conversation on how we need brands to have shades for all skin tones and not just 50 shades of beige. Beauty is a choice and freedom that should be available for all not just the privileged few. The entire forum deserve a round of applause for making this happen.
The articles are attached below for those that wish to read them fully and they are in Swedish as it was published by Swedish Elle.
